My art teacher gave us each a sketchbook to fill up by June. She said that we could draw anything we wanted in it, it just has to be full.
Stan and Spaky. :3 Went through three different picture ideas for this one: this one is the third. Stan is staring off into space. Sparky likes his ball. (No, the one in front of his nose. Not the other kind.) And yeah, I know Stan's left leg needs to be fixed up a bit, but I can't be bothered. :P
ogm real picture for once!1 Lying in snow and patches of grass. That'd be sweet. :D More real pictures to come up~
Stan and Sparky are (c) to Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
The past two comments seem to be a complete waste, no offense intended. C_c; Even I noticed it wasn't showing up this morning so I didn't bother to comment until this afternoon.
Extra points for you, you gave a very well defined pose for Stan~! He fits right into the background along with his dog. I'm glad you're making it more of a scene rather than an actual pose, flows together much better~ You made the hands look much better from your last piece to your sketchbook.
Only real tips I can give is to darken up the BG and throw in shadings to add on more feeling to the sketch rather than Stan and Sparky just there. I wouldn't have said anything for the BG, but I see faint lines and...yeah. o_O;
I've seen it now, and it's my favourite one. XD Love how you did the mountains and Stan seems slightly Gothy, (Might just be the eyes) which gives it a slightly eerie feeling. Sparky is nicely drawn too
*Adds to favourites*
P.S I posted that because I was in school and hella bored, and I was frustrated that I couldn't see the picture. You know how I am Lior when I'm frustrated.
Yeah, last night dA was screwing up and nobody's deviations would show. It was really annoying to see deviations get like 20 comments with people being like HURRRRR I CAN'T SEE HURRRRRRRR I'M GONNA FAV IT ANYWAY THOUGH 'CAUSE I'M SURE IT'S KAWAII HUUUUURRRRRRRR instead of just waiting for everything to be fixed.
ANYAWAY, as for the picture, I think it looks really great! This is definitely my favorite out of the batch so far :3 I really like the mountains and the field and just... it really has this 'open' feel to it. And plus that dog is just adorable.
The only thing I can really see wrong with it is that Stan's pose looks kind of... forced. His left leg is perfectly straight, and that itself is kind of hard to pull off, especially with his foot pointing downward like that. So my suggestion is to bend the leg slightly, and have the foot pointing up and a little to the side to give it a more natural look to it. In fact, here, I drew this: [link] It's the SHITTIEST DRAWING IN THE WORLD and I made the legs look like they were DANCING instead of SITTING but hopefully it should give you an idea on what the hell I'm talking about :B I forgot why I circled his left leg, though. Just ignore that. I don't know what I'm doing anymore. *single tear omg*

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
